Stephen Powell serves on the boards of OneSpaWorld Holdings (OSW:Nasdaq), the preeminent provider of personal care services and solutions to the cruise industry; Haymaker Acquisition Corp. II (HYAC:Nasdaq), a $400 million public investment vehicle raised to invest in the consumer services sector; and Massage Envy Holdings, the industry leader in massage therapy and skincare services through over 1,100 clinics nationwide. He is a senior advisor to The McLean Group, an investment banking broker-dealer specializing in acquisition transactions for companies in aerospace, defense, government services, business services and consumer services sectors; and he is a partner of JAG Partners, a specialized merchant banking platform advising and investing in elite human performance focused companies.
Steve’s prior experience includes investment, strategic advisory and board roles with Atkins Nutritionals, Fusionetics Sports Science and Strivectin Skincare; senior advisor roles with private equity firms Roark Capital and Catterton Partners; founder and president of Cameron Capital where he led the capitalization, acquisitions, operations and sale of a national consumer services, specialty retail, franchising and direct marketing business; head of consumer investment banking for RBC Capital Markets; managing director and head of consumer investment banking for Prudential Securities; and corporate finance positions L.F. Rothschild, Merrill Lynch Capital Markets and Arthur Andersen & Co. Steve holds a BS in Commerce and an MBA from the University of Virginia. He is an active member of Business Executives for National Security.
